This is a two and a half hour class offered twice a day on multiple dates.

1st Session each day: 10:00 – 12:30 / 2nd Session each day: 1:30 – 4:00

Learn the art of RAKU Pottery. Participants will be taught the history and the process of RAKU. Each participant will learn how to glaze and fire RAKU. Students will choose one pre-made bisqued piece of pottery, which they will glaze, and fire in the RAKU kiln.

Learn the history and art of RAKU Pottery. Glaze a pre-made bisqued piece of pottery and then fire your piece in a RAKU Kiln.

Experience level: No experience needed

Fee: $40 for ASA members and $45 for non-members. Plan to pay with cash or check at the beginning of class. (A second piece of pottery may be purchased for an addi-tional $12.00.)

Materials student must provide: Wear cotton clothing and closed toe shoes.

Materials provided by teacher: One bisque piece of pottery for each participant, RAKU glazes and kiln for firing.

Number of students: Minimum 2 / Maximum 8
