Long Description: Your design knowledge will increase as you learn to incorporate chain. You will make a necklace, bracelet and earrings in this class. You will also learn to create your own jump rings to use in your design. You can either purchase your own chain and 3-4 large beads, or you can pay $10 additional to use instructor’s materials. This class will include some of the material from Bonnie’s Intermediate Jewelry class which involved the production of multiple strands of beads to create two separate designs.
Note: Please let the instructor know if you want chain in something other than silver.
Short Description: Using chain is an exciting way to create unique designs to your jewelry collection and can include designs on multiple strands.
Materials students should provide: Basic tools, basic findings, Three large beads (18-20mm), Small (8mm) bead strand, Charms for bracelet
Materials provided by the instructor: Design boards, Looper tools, Three sizes chain, unique findings per designs, and claw clasp.
Fee: $40 for ASA members and $50 for non-members. Plan to pay with cash or check at the beginning of class
Materials Fee: $10 additional
Expected ability Level: Some experience helpful but not required.
