Learn basic principles and concepts using water-mixable oil paints – a less toxic alternative to solvents and traditional oils. No experience necessary. Instructor will guide students to express their unique artistic vision. Exercises and a small landscape painting from photo reference, will complete this beginning course.
Materials students should provide: Painting materials such as palette knife, any brushes the artist has and wants to use, rags or paper towels, apron, paint-shirt, sack-lunch or snacks.
Materials instructor will provide: Basic supplies, including the painting surface, paint and brushes.
Fee: $60.00 for ASA members and $70.00 for non-members. Plan to pay with cash or check at the beginning of class
