Fresh Catch, Paper Mache Fish Workshop, Instructor Linda Cave 541-557-1661
Students will create Paper Mache fish forms for first two hours of class, and then work on decorating a fish form supplied by instructor. Each student will leave with a completed fish and a paper mache form to complete at home. An assortment of Linda’s special papers will be available with various items for embellishment. Create a one-of a kind fresh-catch.
Examples of Linda’s fish can be seen at the cultural centers gift shop
Materials provided by students: Stiff brush for glue, medium bottle white glue, tube of superglue gel, small container wallpaper paste (available at hardware store), tight fitting medical style gloves if your paste has fungicide in, plastic bag, old towel, stack of newspaper, small. needle nose pliers if you have them, scissors, any decorative items you have: papers, embellishments, decorative wire, beads, gel pens, markers.
Materials provided by the instructor: 1 Paper Mache form per student, 1 basic cardboard fish form per student. assorted hand colored papers, and tissues. Assorted embellishments, newspaper, extra wallpaper paste, cardboard and masking tape, Extra scissors, pliers, brushes, awl, superglue gel, and white glue.
Fee: $40 for members, $45 for non members Fees are payable in cash or check at the start of class.
