Adventure in Acrylic

This is a three day series. Plan to attend all 3 days.

Enhance your acrylic paintings with a variety of techniques and products, dry brush, pours, dripping, texturizing and so much more.

Alcohol Dissolve, dry brush, dripping, pours, textures, layering and so much more can enhance your acrylic paintings. This 3 day workshop will give you multiple techniques and tools to work with. We will experiment with all the different acrylics available from fluid to heavy body and try a multitude of gels and glazes. You will finish several paintings in this class.

Experience level: No experience necessary.

Fee: $120 for ASA members and $135 for non-members. Plan to pay with cash or check at the beginning of class. Plus Material fee $20.

Materials provided by the instructor: A wide variety of mediums, textures and gels.

Materials the student should provide:
 Variety of colors in fluid or heavy body acrylics.
 Variety of brushes and palette knives.
 Up to 6 substrates, watercolor paper, canvas or board with 2 to 3 layers of gesso.
 Small spray bottle of 91% alcohol
 spray water bottle
 paper palette
 paper towels
 Inspiration photos
