ASA News – Additional Classes and More 5/16/2019

There is still time to register for our watercolor Puffin class given by Catherine Hingson on Saturday, May 25th from 10 to 4 PM. Students will learn multiple watercolor techniques including how to create vivid colors, mixed darks, water effect techniques and experimenting with Brusho Crystals pigments. Art Smart has its big movie fund raiser/premier at the Bijou Theatre on Sat. June 1st, at 11 AM so mark your calendars! It’s called the “Galaxy Artastica”.

This year was a record-breaking year for Art Smart. They offered 3 classes on Saturdays and had over 60 kids enrolled. The children learned how to make stop gap animation and there are lots of examples of this in the movie. They also developed their own planets and worked in many other types of art as they created their outer space story. We hope you can make it to see the movie!
